About: | Theresa Tamel joined Cornerstone’s teaching staff in 2009 and is currently Cornerstone’s Middle School Principal. A long-time resident of Milwaukee, WI, she has experience working with Christ-centered schools both as a classroom instructor and as an administrator. Mrs. Tamel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Lakeland College, a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from UW-Milwaukee, and has her certificate in Administrative Leadership from Marquette University. Throughout her years of service she has served as a lower school vertical team leader, as an elementary school director of development, and as a principal of a K-12 school. She has also dedicated much of her time to church leadership. As a core member of a ministry called the Project20 leadership team, Mrs. Tamel was involved in establishing several service opportunities. Ever passionate about the biblical mandate to help others, she remains active in community service efforts. Mrs. Tamel is married and has three children. She and her family attend North Point Community Church in Alpharetta. |
