Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) |
|
Cornerstone’s Parent Teacher Fellowship, or PTF, is an essential pillar in the school’s organization, working to build community among parents and between the Cornerstone staff and school family, while being responsible for the coordination and execution of many of the school’s events.
The goals of the PTF are:
- To support excellence in the Christian education of children at Cornerstone Christian Academy.
- To support Cornerstone Christian Academy in the graduation of boys and girls whose educational experience lays the foundation for Christian leadership in the world.
- To enhance communication among parents, faculty and administration.
- To encourage and stimulate parental participation in the community of Cornerstone Christian Academy.

Each family enrolled at Cornerstone is a member of the PTF. Parents serve in classrooms, participate on committees, plan events, and coordinate projects. This active involvement ensures the continued excellence of the academic and enrichment environments for our students.
Under the direction of the PTF executive Board, over 25 parent-led committees work to implement each year’s plans. Programs and activities include:

“Cornerstone represents the best of what we wanted for our children's education. We are thrilled with the small class sizes, experienced teachers and strong curriculum all wrapped up in a Christian-world view. We are in awe of the leaders being produced at Cornerstone.”
